Announcing the Trane UK sponsored Basingstoke Bison
As exclusively announced this morning in The Basingstoke Gazette, the Basingstoke Bison ice hockey team have a new "Principal Team Sponsor" for the 2018 / 19 season.
The team going forwards will be known as the "Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison".
Trane®, a world leader in indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, designs, manufactures and services HVAC-R systems and controls that create sustainable, comfortable and efficient environments for commercial buildings and industrial processes.
The deal for the forthcoming season, in one of the biggest deals in the club's 30 year history second only to our partnership with "Wella" another internationally renowned company who also looked to support local teams and in doing so raising their profile in the local community.
With Trane's UK head office based on Bessemer Road, Basingstoke, the company is excited to be part of the community through this sponsorship. “Supporting our local teams is really important to us,” said Faruk Ucur the District Leader for Northern Europe. "We are really pleased to have secured the position to be principal team sponsor and support 'the herd' going into the start of the NIHL South 1, and throughout the season".
On announcing the deal John Neville on behalf of the Bison said, "We are ever so excited to begin this partnership with Trane a local business who supports local sporting teams in my dealings with the guys at Trane we have found a perfect synergy between ice and sport something which both companies deal with on a daily basis".

Faruk Ucur the District Leader for Northern Europe commented, "Trane would like to wish all the players and staff involved with The Bison's the best of luck for the first match on Saturday 8th September vs Peterborough and the season ahead".
Coach Tait commented, "It's great news that Trane have come on board with the Herd and we look forward to wearing our new jerseys as we commence the defence of our titles in January".
The Trane logo will feature above the crest on the Bison playing jerseys for the forthcoming season as well as a visible presence both inside and outside the arena.
