Skate with the Players this Saturday

This Saturday we host the Invicta Dynamos in NIHL action and are holding our every popular annual Teddy Bear Toss in conjunction with our friends at Naomi House.

At the end of the game, your Trane sponsored Basingstoke Bison are delighted to be able to offer their fans the chance to skate with the players too.

Fans can join in free of charge as long as you hold a valid match ticket for the game – saving you around £8! Skate hire will be available for only £2.50 for anyone who doesn’t own their own skates – just arrange your skate hire at the box office in the period breaks! For supporters attending the game who do have their own pair of skates, the post match skate with the players is free of charge.

“With Christmas just around the corner and with the tremendous support and loyalty our fans have given us so far this season we thought it was only right that we gave something back to the fans and what better way is there than skating on the ice with the players” said John Neville

Coach Tait commented, “The support each week that our passionate fans create is second to none and we are delighted to be able to offer fans the chance to get even closer to the players they cheer on every week. I’m not sure there’s any other top flight sport where you can get close to your heroes – especially not straight after they’ve been competing!”

The Skate with the Players session will get underway after the Man of the match presentations and once the players have dropped their kit off into the dressing room and will last around 30 minutes. Due to this event there will no Player signing table this weekend.

We look forward to seeing you at the game and remember we’ll be on the look out for any budding Bison players of the future or even yesteryear.
