Moving On...
30th of April 2012
As the rebuilding of the team for the 2012/13 season continues, the ADD Recycling Basingstoke Bison regret to announce that both Sam Oakford and Ollie Bronniman will not be dressing for the herd next season.

Bison Head Coach, Doug Sheppard said, “Sam and Ollie are great guys and I would have loved to keep them in Basingstoke given the service they have given to the club over the past few seasons. However they have decided to seek their future with other teams in the league.”

Doug continued, “Whilst continuity is key to ensure stability it’s clear that last year’s team was unable to produce the consistency of results needed in order to challenge for the league. This year the goal is to ice a team with talent, experience, determination and grit delivering a consistency in results and performances”.

John Neville, Planet Ice Group Managing Director said, “It’s hard to say goodbye to guys like Sam and Ollie who have been dedicated servants of the team since the start of EPL campaign. Doug obviously needs to make changes in order to deliver a winning team and with players opting to play elsewhere next season it makes for an eventful summer.

We all wish both of them good luck for the future and I would like to thank them on behalf of the team and the fans for the service and commitment they showed to the Herds cause”.
