Someone told me that would be a good headline, 'That's all folks', but I don't agree at all! That is not all, it is not even the beginning, this is the point when we can see the start line, that's what it is! 'We can see the start line!' is the heading I would choose!

I must say that we were lucky to have meaningful games right to the end, ok the last one had no real meaning, but we had meaningful games at home to the very last one played, and I think we had more excitement than many other teams in the league the last few weeks!

So what have we done so far? Well we made it here, we came to a final, we kept the excitement to the very last, and above all we got some great hockey in Basingstoke, played by some great players who I'm sure will be remembered for a long time! That's what we did! I think that is a great thing, a great season!

I must admit that it was a really bumpy road we got, I know I said that on the first meeting when I took over, but I don't think anyone, including myself, would know how bumpy it would be! It still is, and it will be for some time, I think that this will take time to build, and build it properly, but at least we have something to build on!

I must thank everyone who has put so much time in helping me and helping the team to get here, all the people who work non stop on match nights, everyone who helps with marketing, all the tips tricks and ideas that come in and of course to all the people who came to the matches this season! It's been really great and I'm proud to have met you all! We would not be where we are today if it was not for all these people, big thanks to all of you, and I hope you continue your support, I need it! The Bison need it!

The starting line for 2008-2009 season is in sight, we will be on that starting line, EIHL if anyone still wondered, all we need to do now is make sure that we have the best team we can get to represent us on the starting line, on budget and on time that is! We already know that Ryan will be the man to put our team together, we know Brad will be the captain of the team and we already know that.. ohh no, you don't know that he will be back! I think I forgot to tell you that, well its gonna have to wait a little longer.. where were we? Ohh yes the starting line, we know that we have the best fans in the league! Now lets do something good with all this!

Season tickets that we started selling a little while ago are going really well, much better then we could ever guess! We are also seeing loads of new season ticket holders! So I have great hopes for next season and I cant wait for it to start!

Hockey season might be over for us, but the work ahead of us is massive! There is so much to do now, so much to fix for next season, so much that we can do to make it all better, give us a better start and make all this work. Some might think 'Next season we will not have any problems' but that is most likely very wrong, we are far away from stability, we are far away from feeling safe, but I have a 3 year plan, and I have a 5 year plan. I know where I want the team to be, and I have a hope that my plans are realistic, so let's get to work!

I will write soon again, I will try to keep you updated during the summer as often as I can, maybe even make this the weekly feature it is supposed to be but has not been, I will try.
