Bison snapped a 3 game losing run and at the same time ended the Steelers own 5 game winning streak in a close game in Hampshire.

A fairly even opening session looked to be heading goalless until Greg Chambers (13th) found a way to beat Jody Lehman in the Steelers net at 18.43.

Bison doubled their lead at 21.47 on the powerplay with Mikko Purontakanen (3rd) counting before Steelers came right back with their own powerplay unit working at the double and goals came from Joey Talbot (19th) at 33.19 and Jeff Legue (9th) at 37.46 tied the game.

Bison however, were not to be denied and with 46 seconds remaining in the period they were back in the lead as Chambers (14th) scored his second of the game.

The final period remained tight but neither team could find the route to goal and Bison skated away with the valuable points, stopping the recent Steelers charge dead in it's tracks.
