The Basingstoke Bison will be looking to repeat their biggest home league win of the season, when the Sheffield Steelers are in town on Sunday.
When the South Yorkshire side were last in Hampshire, back in October, they were beaten 6-3 as the home side never looked back after reeling off a 4-0 first period.
Bison Derek Campbell scored the first two goals on his way to a match winning hat-trick, while Peter Campbell, Steve Thornton and Greg Owen netted the others.
Basingstoke are hoping top Brit Owen, will have recovered from a shoulder injury, which saw him forced out of last Sunday's defeat at Newcastle.
That is where the Steelers travel to on Saturday, fresh from booking a place in the Challenge Cup final against their arch rivals the Nottingham Panthers, after they beat Cardiff 2-0 in a semi-final second leg on Wednesday night.
While Sheffield will be hoping to avoid the Vipers bite, the Herd have a night off in readiness for a full stampede on Sunday night, and tickets are still available for another great night at the Basingstoke Arena from the box office on (01256) 355266.
There is a special offer for the game where children can attend the game for a quid, if accompanied by a full paying adult.
Talking about the game Bison head coach Ryan Aldridge said: "They are a very solid team with some good Brits. We know it is going to be tough, but with only one game this weekend it is important we get some points from it."
