Bison get new driving force

The Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce a two year sponsorship deal with local coach company Woodley Travel.

As part of the deal the Herd will travel in style on their own coach, decked out in Bison colours and logos to all their road games for this season and next.

Woodley Travel who are based in Aldermaston and have been run by the Tofts family since 2003, when Basingstoke man Keith Raymond Tofts achieved a life time dream to own his own coach company.

On his death in April 2006, his immediate family decided to continue to run the family business, and are now proud to be involved with the Bison, seeing them as top class family entertainment providers on a Saturday night in Basingstoke.

One of his sons Bradley Tofts assistant manager of Woodley Travel said: " We are very pleased to link with the Bison, as this is a great deal for both of us. We are giving them our best bus, which is going to look great with all the new Bison art work on it. During the week we will be using it in London, so I am sure it is going to turn a few heads."
He added: " For us we get the chance of having tickets for each home game and I am sure the employees will find it is a great way to spend a Saturday night. I have really enjoyed the games I have been to so far, last week against Newcastle was a real on the edge of your seat game."

Tomas Enerston owner of the Bison said: "We are obviously delighted to have agreed this partnership. We are looking forward to working with Woodley Travel as they are a family orientated business and the Bison are involved in top class family entertainment."

Woodley Travel have a fleet of 12 vehicles from eight to 57 seaters, with their best bus now being used by the Bison. The company provide a range of services from feeder travel to executive and is linked to Toucan Travel for day trips, as well as continental holidays. School runs are another service it can provide.

It's aims is to generate loyal customers and clients by providing a fully functional service which involves mechanics, office staff and drivers giving 100 per cent.
