The Devils took the points on Saturday in Hampshire winning by the odd goal in seven in the Challenge Cup. Sunday's game a league match and Devils came out on top again, coming from two goals down twice in the second period to hit three in four minutes in the third to take a two goal lead themselves.

The hosts got on the board first in this high scoring encounter as Mattus Petricko found the net at 11.51. They failed to hold onto their lead for any length of time, as the Bison were level 39 seconds later with a goal from Brad Cruikshank. The period ended at one apiece but no one was to no what was going to happen.

The Bison came out at the start of the second period with a mission and Greg Chambers hit two goals in the space of 21 seconds the first came at 21.17 and the second at 21.38. The Devils pulled one back through Gerard Adams at 25.51, only for Greg Owen on the powerplay to restore the visitors two goal lead at 34.11. Max Birbraer cut the deficit to one for the second time at 38.58.

The Devils had their own mission in the third period and they hit the Bison with three goals in four minutes. The first came at 45.16 with Gerard Adams hitting his second of the game to tie the game up at four apiece. Max Birbraer with his second put the Devils in front for the first time since the opening goal at 47.50 and then Mattus Petricko with his second gave the Devils a two goal lead at 49.24.

The Bison pulled one back as Steve Thornton netted on the powerplay at 57.41. With Stevie Lyle pulled for the extra skater the Devils found the empty net with a goal from Sylvain Deschatelets at 57.52.
