Bison announce pre-season challenge games
6th of August 2007
The Basingstoke Bison will be playing 3 challenge games prior to the commencement of the 2007/08 bmibaby Elite Ice Hockey League campaign, the first game is on Saturday 1st September 2007 against the current English Premier League Champions and the English Premier Playoff Champions the Bracknell Bees, face off is at 6.30 and will see both squads icing their full lines in a highly competitive game.

Tickets for this game go on sale from the 13th August 2007 from the Basingstoke Arena Box Office; the game ticket price has been discounted to all supporters to £9.00 per Adult and £5.00 per child.

On Sunday 2nd September the Bison travel to Cardiff for another challenge game this time against the Cardiff Devils, we are also looking to play a midweek challenge game against a French Elite League side but as yet the details have not been finalised.

We announced recently that the face off time for the Saturday home games was 7pm, this was an error taken from our contract, and the face off time is as always 6.30pm for all our Saturday home games.

The Season tickets are being produced now and will be ready for collection at the home game against Bracknell on the 1st September 2007.

We are holding a week long training camp prior to the start of the season and will arrange with the Supporters Club to organise a 'Meet the Players' evening in the Q bar one evening of the week commencing Monday 27th August; details will follow soon confirming the day.

Ryan returns this week from a NHL run coaching camp and will release details of the latest signings.
