The Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce a major sponsorship and marketing partnership has been agreed with the premier radio station for the Basingstoke region Kestrel FM.
The sponsorship deal worth over £20,000 provides the Bison with a sustained radio campaign throughout the playing season with many hundreds of adverts together with post weekend reviews on air with Bison Head Coach Ryan Aldridge and a preview of the forthcoming weekend's games.
Working together with Kestrel FM there will be lots of on and off ice promotional campaigns as well as regular on air competitions to win family tickets to the Bison home games with the promotional team from the station being a regular sight at the home games.
This is a major step forward in our primary objective which is to raise the profile of the Bison and to increase the number of supporters to Basingstoke's primary sporting team, this agreement is excellent news for the team, the fans and the sponsors of the Basingstoke Bison Ice Hockey Team as we begin our campaign for success in the 2007 / 08 BMIbaby Elite Ice Hockey League.
In addition to this agreement the Bison will be working closely with the management of Festival Place in several joint promotional projects again aimed at increasing the profile and awareness of the Basingstoke Bison, further details will follow.
