The Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce that Grosvenor Carpets will once again this season be the club's puck sponsors.
The successful business based on the Moniton Estate, just around the corner from the Herd's home the Basingstoke Arena, has been supplying and fitting all forms of floor covering throughout Basingstoke and Southern England since 1974.
They have been linked with ice hockey in the town since the a team first hit the ice in Basingstoke in the summer of 1988, when co-owner Roy Allum first sponsored the team.
Bison player/coach Steve Moria said: "It is great that Roy (Allum) has shown great dedication to the sport of ice hockey over so many years. We are very pleased he is back on board again this season as every sponsor is important to this team."
Allum co-owner of Grosvenor Carpets said: "I think this season is going to really exciting one for the team, I am really looking forward to it, especially as we have so many local derbies."
He added: "For us as a business it is great to be involved with the bison as they are the best supported team in the town."
