Flaming good signing
28th of April 2009
The Basingstoke Bison are delighted to announce the signing of Ollie Bronnimann.

The 22-year-old British forward joins the Herd from local rivals Guildford Flames and will add even more goal scoring punch to the Basingstoke offence.

In his previous fours years with the Surrey side, he scored 83 times and is also a former Great Britain junior international

Previous to his time in Guilford he had a spell in Switzerland, the home land of his father and also played some junior hockey in America.

Bison player/coach Steve Moria said: "Ollie is a very talented and skilful hockey player, but has yet to fulfil his full potential. I see him playing an important part for Basingstoke this season."

New Herd signing Bronnimann said: "I am very excited about coming to the Bison and Steve (Moria) is building a very good team

"I feel I may have got a little too comfortable in Guildford, so this is a fresh start and I am looking forward to a new challenge."
