This Sunday is the last chance to see the Basingstoke Bison in action this season, as they play their final game of the 2008/09 campaign, when the league champions Sheffield Steelers are in town.
The action gets under way at 6pm at the Basingstoke Arena and tickets are still available from the box office on (01256) 355266.
The visiting Steelers include former three former Bison favourites Brad Cruikshank, Doug Sheppard and Dan Green, who expected to get the start in goal.
This match forms part of a double header weekend of action with the South Yorkshire side, with the first game in Sheffield on Saturday night.
Whilst the Steelers have enjoyed a clean sweep of wins so far on home ice. In Hampshire honours have been even and Sunday's game will give the Herd a chance of their first home series win of the season.
Canadian forward Mike Olynyk is the only injury doubt, after Bison captain Brent Hughes returned on Wednesday night in the 9-8 defeat in Swindon and scored the Herd's final goal.
Kevin Reiter also scored for Basingstoke in Swindon, but on Sunday is set to return to netminding duties for the team.
Basingstoke player/coach Eric Braff said: "We can only congratulate Sheffield on winning the title, they have been the best team all year. But it would be nice to win one of our final games of the season."
Bison fans who bought tickets for the play-off finals weekend in Nottingham are reminded to pick them up on Sunday night from the Supporters Club table
