Bison missed out on an opportunity to move ahead of Edinburgh Capitals and in to the final Play-Off spot after going down at home to a Devils side who were winning their fourth straight game - for Bison however this was league defeat number eight in a row.
A very tight opening twenty minutes saw neither team manage to break the deadlock but that soon changed in the middle session as Devils took the lead at 23.31 thanks to Brad Voth (25th of the season) but at the same time Bison suffered a real blow as goaltender Curtis Cruickshank was forced out of the game through injury with Dan Green taking his place.
Bison did quickly level however, with Brad Cruikshank (29th) firing home at 25.27 but Devils regained the lead late on as Tyson Teplitsky (17th) scored unassisted at 37.11.
A powerplay opportunity proved crucial early in the final period as Devils took advantage to go 3-1 ahead at 42.56 with Dion Darling (2nd) finding the net and with both sides managing to shut up shop after that there was no more scoring and Devils claimed full points from an always difficult barn to gain points from.

Penalty Mins: 18-10
Powerplay: Bas 0/5 - Car 1/4
Shots On: Curtis Cruickshank/Dan Green 36 - Phil Osaer 33
