The Basingstoke Bison are delighted to announce that Czech Republic import forward Andre Niec, will be in their line-up for Saturday night's game against the Nottingham Panthers.
The 26-year-old has impressed in training with the Herd, ahead of this weekend's clash.
The trialist who started the season at the Telford Tigers, will now hope to earn a place on the team for the rest of the season.
When in Shropshire, Niec picked up 23 points from 14 games in the English Premier League and will now hope to impress in the Elite League.
Tickets are still available for Saturday's clash which has a 6.30pm face-off and can be booked from the box office on (01256) 355266.
The Bison have just the one game this weekend and so far this season have shared the spoils with the Panthers in Basingstoke.
In Nottingham's first visit, the Bison stormed back from 3-0 down to record a 5-3 victory, while on Nottingham's last trek to Hampshire, they escaped with a 3-2 win.
Bison player/coach Eric Braff said: "Having Andre in the line-up will give the team a lift. We have had a good week of training and now will hope to turn that into a good performance on the ice, which will give our fans something to cheer about as we owe them."
