Basingstoke Bison player/coach Eric Braff was delighted man, as he spoke after his side had secured their place in the semi-final of the Challenge Cup, with an 8-6 success in Hull.
Braff said: "It is great to be in the final four, both for the players and the fans at this club. We will now look forward to playing Manchester in the semi-final. Tonight we knew what we had to do it was a high scoring game, but we got the result."
The Herd goals were scored by Danny Stewart with hat-trick, Shaun Thompson a brace, while Ross Bowers, Brent Hughes and Greg Chambers all scored singles.
