The Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce the signing of Czech Republic defenceman Robert Pospisil.
The newest member of the Herd's blue line brigade will fly into Britain on Saturday morning from Prague. He will make his debut that evening in the Elite League clash with the Hull Stingrays.
The Herd's latest addition started his career at HC Pardubice in season 1996/97 and brings a wealth of experience to the team.
He has played in the French League with Epinal and was also the top scoring defenceman for Kapfenberg in the Austria's Nationliga.
In the past two seasons he has played in Poland with Podhale Nowy Targ and Stoczniowiec Gdansk and in Russia for Gazprom OGU Orenberg.
