Battling performance against Coventry
27th of September 2008
Mark Richardson was upbeat after tonight's defeat against Coventry.

"Going in at the end of the second period tied with Coventry shows the level of our performance. At the beginning of the game Braffer quickly realised his ankle was still not fully recovered and had to leave the ice. Coventry is not a team you want to be playing when you're short-benched. Killing penalties is especially tiring. We ran out of gas in the third period and with tiredness will come some errors.

The schedule hasn't done us any favours but games like this will stand us in good stead later on.Aldy led by example and Kevin was outstanding again. We're confident that we'll start to turn things round. The travelling support was great and we look forward to playing at home tomorrow evening."
