American netminder Kevin Reiter will make his home debut tomorrow, as the Basingstoke Bison face the Cardiff Devils in the first of two encounters this weekend.
The first match-up on home ice is in the Elite League, while Sunday's trip to Wales is a Challenge Cup group game.
Newly signed Bison import Matt Miller will miss both games, as he waits for the necessary paperwork to be completed.
Otherwise, the Herd will be a full strength, for what should be another exciting game between these two great rivals.
Tickets for a match, which has a 6.30pm start, are still on sale, from the box office on (01256) 355266.
The Devils will be minus captain Brad Voth for the weekend, as he starts his 12 game suspension, but new American forward Jay Latulippe will arrive tomorrow in Britain. Another player delayed by paperwork problems.
Cardiff also include in their line-up, two former Bison players in forward Derek Campbell and defenceman Wes Jarvis
Earlier this month, Devils owner Matt Burge helped save the Bison, but this weekend the Herd will be gunning for a maximum points.
Talking about the weekend, Aldridge said: "It will be great to have Kevin (Reiter) in the line-up and his addition is sure to lift the dressing room. Last season, I think Cardiff had two of the best defencemen in the league and they really hurt us in so many games. The Devils have a new look defence this year, so we will see what happens this time .
"I think this weekend's games will be entertaining and for sure I think we can take all four points."
