The countdown is on to the annual Basingstoke Bison Teddy Bear Toss which takes place on Saturday as the Herd take on the Guildford Flames.

Everyone on the night can get involved and Basingstoke and Guildford fans can unite for one moment, when the Bison score their first goal and throw cuddly toys onto the ice.

As in previous years all the toys will be donated to Naomi House, which is a Children's Hospice for Hampshire, Berkshire, Dorset, the Isle of Wight and Wiltshire, based at Sutton Scotney.

So bring along a cuddly toy of any shape or form including a Bison. The only thing the club ask is that they all cuddly toys are placed in a sealed plastic bag for hygiene reasons and that they have a CE safety label on them.

So lets cover the ice as I know together we can do this. So don't forget that cuddly toy on Saturday.
