ICE hockey players dropped by a hospital ward to help bring some pre-Christmas cheer to the young patients.

Bison player/coach Steve Moria said: “From a personal, and a team, point of view it was a very rewarding for us to help out in what ever way we can.
“This time of year can be very difficult for some children and their parents so I am glad we were able to help out.”
The team also donated teddy bears to the ward as a parting gift. Trish Le Flufy, head of children’s nursing at Basingstoke hospital, said: “We are absolutely delighted with our wonderful bright and cheery Christmas decorations, so beautifully organised by the Bison this year.
