MIndy Kieras was the Basingstoke Bison hero on Saturday night as he scored the overtime winner as the Herd won 4-3 in Swindon.
The Lithuania defenceman struck two minutes into the extra session to win the match.
Man-of-the-match Kieras also scored the game tying goal on the powerplay after player/coach Steve Moria had started the Bison comeback in the final 10 minutes.
The Wildcats looked on their way to victory after man-of-the-match Jan Krajicek and Aaron Nell had given the Wiltshire side a 3-1 advantage.
Earlier in the contest, Swindon led after the first period thanks to Jason Cassells, before Moria tied the game before the second buzzer.
