BISON V LIGHTNING - POSTPONED
10th of January 2010
It is with regret that the Basingstoke Bison have to announce that this evening's match against the Milton Keynes Lightning has been postponed.

A decision was taken at 11am between clubs officials, Planet Ice management and Leisure Park security.

The main cause for concern was the supporter’s journey to and from the rink, and the issue with the car park, which is still partially inaccessible.

We understand that the decision to postpone the match was taken later than other matches – but this was to allow every opportunity to get the game on and allow supporters a chance to watch two of the top English Premier League sides battle it out.

No date has been set for when the game will take place but tickets already purchased will be valid for the rearranged date. The date for the new game will be announced on the Bison website and the local press as soon as it is known.

Basingstoke Bison and the Milton Keynes Lightning wish to apologise to supporters for any issues this may cause – but the safety of supporters is paramount.
