MIDWEEK PREVIEW - Milton Keynes Lightning come to town.
2nd of March 2010
THE BASINGSTOKE Arena is the place to be on Wednesday night as the Bison lock horns with EPL leaders Milton Keynes Lightning.

The Herd are currently on an 11 game home winning streak, but that will be put to the test by a side who have yet to lose to them, even if last time it was only by a single goal.

The Lightning come into this clash having lost at Guildford 4-2 on Sunday, while the Bison moved up to fourth in the standings after a 3-2 success in Sheffield.

Wednesday is sure to be as tighter game as the Olympic gold medal match and the action gets underway at 7.30pm.

Bison player/coach Steve Moria said: “They are the best team in this league as the standings prove, but we are playing well at home and want to keep that streak going to the end of the season.

“For sure they are going to test us, but if we play to our best I see no reason why we cannot get a result.”

So make sure you don’t miss out another great night of ice hockey action. Tickets are available for the game from the box office on (01256) 355266.

Season ticket holders are reminded this game is part of their package.
