A BIG THANK-YOU!
5th of April 2010
I am sure you will agree with me, that the Basingstoke Bison’s first season in the English Premier League has been a great success.

Many people have put in a lot of hard work to help make it a season we can be proud of, not only on the ice but behind the scenes.

On behalf of Planet Ice and the Bison, Steve and I would like to say a few words of thanks to :-

Paul West who has worked endlessly all year including the close season, doing numerous jobs too many to mention.
Graham Merry for his excellent media coverage along with Bison press releases and weekend previews for the website.
Graham Bell and the guys from Winchester Uni/Bolt Action Media, for Bison TV and Radio. This has meant we have been able to capture the thrills and spills on the ice and keep the fans up to date on away matches.
Mark Fuller for his photography skills which has help promote the Bison product.
Our DJ Bavy for creating a great match night atmosphere, along with those who run the various stalls on game nights.
Teresa Baldwin who has done a sterling job compiling the Bison Stampede.
Mark Strain for keeping the website running smoothly, to Keith Johnson and Anthony Russell for the Facebook group and to Grant King for all his help with the twitter group.
Emma West for her help in selling the Bison’s Playoff tickets for Coventry.
The Manuel family for their work with the Bison Junior Fan Club the fans of the future.
Ken Wilson for organsing the match day mascots.
Not forgetting all the off ice officials, people behind the team bench and Planet Ice staff on match nights.

Lastly and most importantly a big thank-you to you the fans who could have walked away, but have continued to support the team. Without you this season would not have been the success it has been.

Finally keep looking out in all the regular media for all your Bison news as we announce next seasons player signings and plans. I hope you all have a wonderful summer and Steve and I look forward to welcoming you all to another great season of ice hockey in September.
