Where has all this beautiful sunshine come from? What a lovely weekend we've got ahead of us - but it's been another action packed week off the ice for the Bison.

The news started early as late on Friday Tom Annetts re-signed for the Bison 2010/11. Tom was straight in the action as he teamed up with Steve Moria and Tony Redmond to take part in a charity 'Ready Steady Cook' challenge.

For those of you who didn't make it, the team of Steve and Tom came out on top in the big cook-off, recreating a spectactular hockey goalie and net out of crossiant mix. Tony's team's creation of a thistle was good, but wasn't enough to take home the prize.

Elsewhere, Monday saw us launch the 'Follow the Herd' corporate drive for the 2010/11 season with the unveiling of the new sponsorship pack. Remember to check out the press release to see how you as a supporter could win the sponsorship for one of the players this season.

Couple of dates for your diary now -

2009/10 season ticket holders have until Friday 11th June 2010 to reserve their seats for the forthcoming season as they will go on sale to the general public on Sat 12th June. After the success of last season we have a considerable amount of new fans looking to purchase a Season ticket for the forthcoming season, so don't miss out on reserving your seats for what will be another fascinating season of hockey in Basingstoke.

Remember we've got our 'Social Night' coming up on Wednesday 2nd June at Wolfies. As well as the chance to renew your season ticket on the night, Steve has also promised to unveil a couple of new signings, as well as some other information ahead of the new season. It will be a great evening and we look forward to see many supporters there.

If you are wishing to eat at the 'Social Night, please ring the resturant direct and pre-book a table for eating only. You don't have to book a table to attend the evening, but if you are planning to eat, we recommend that you do pre-book your table.

Congratulations to the latest 'Owners and Loaners' Moose, James Trevillion, Steve & Beckie Fenton, on their purchases. Remember, just e-mail bison.info@planet-ice.co.uk as soon as a signing is confirmed on the Bison website - jersey's are sold on a first-come, first-served basis (£150 for the home jersey, £120 away).

To all the budding Bison stars out there, remember the Bison Hockey Skills Camp that is taking place at the Basingstoke Arena from May 31st until June 4th, being led by Steve Moria. Find out more information here- but be quick as spaces are running out.
