23rd of July 2010
With the team finally completed this week, I look forward to the 2010 Bison season. I think that we are strong in every department and I am excited about the challenges that we will face this season.
At this stage of the summer it is crucial for the players to be in training and preparing for the new season. Ideally, every player will be faster and stronger because of their off season training programs. Some of us have been getting on the ice once a week and hopefully we will be skating more often in August.
I missed out on the London to Paris bike event which is taking place right now. I have had to postpone my ride until next July. I hope that the guys and girls are doing well as they head towards Paris.
We have redesigned the Bison shirt which I think looks sharp. We will be announcing a “Shirt Launch” date very soon. We are aiming for the middle of August. This would give people the chance to collect their season tickets as well.
On the sponsorship front, we are still seeking sponsors/partners. This season we will be allowing companies or groups to sponsor a match. The group will have one of the two executive boxes to watch the game which would also include a Wolfies buffet. Please contact us if your company might be interested in sponsoring a Bison match.
On the website during the next few weeks, we will be introducing all of the Bison players individually. This will give you the chance to read about each guy as they answer questions about themselves.
How about joining the Bison fantasy football league? We will be letting you know the details soon. I will definitely putting together a team. I recently won my World Cup League and regard myself as an astute football manager. Hopefully we can get a large numbers of Bison players and fans joining the League!
Last week we were in Eurodisney which was fantastic! Jack loved following all of the characters around, especially Donald Duck, who is his favourite. I have to share another highlight of ours. During the big parade one night, the Incredibles dude was posing and flexing his muscles so I did the same, which he noticed. He pointed at me and gave me the thumbs up!
That’s it for now.
