Skinns Completes the Bison Puzzle
28th of July 2010
Basingstoke Bison Ice Hockey Club are proud to announce their final signing of the summer, as hometown boy Dean Skinns joins the Herd for the 2010-11 season.

Skinns will be a familiar face to Bison supporters, having backstopped the Guildford Flames in the EPL last season, as well as having previously spent four seasons with the Bison in the BNL and Elite League.

The 25-year old will be backing-up Tom Annetts, who made the number one jersey his own last season with some stunning performances down the stretch.

But the signing of Skinns provides the Bison with one of, if not, the strongest netminding duo's in the league, and Director of Hockey Steve Moria, who coached Skinns at a previous club for three seasons, was delighted to link up with the netminder again.

"I am extremely happy to have signed Dean." Moria added.

"Although still young, he is an experienced netminder who has been one of the top keepers in the EPL each season.

"This gives us a great 1-2 punch in the nets with Tommy's excellent play last season."

Remember, Bison fans have the chance to own Dean’s match-worn jerseys for the season as part of the Own and Loan scheme, which proved to be a great success last season.

Each player's home and away jersey will be available at £150 for the home shirt and £120 for the away.

All owners and loaners will have their name printed on the back of the player's jersey, as well as having the opportunity of getting a photograph with their respective player at the end of the season.

The jerseys are available on a first-come, first-served basis by e-mailing bison.info@planet-ice.co.uk
