I hope you are all in good voice, ready for our cup semi-final against Hull on Saturday, Let's all make it a great night.
The players are ready and we really want to make it to the final.
We have the advantage on Saturday night as the game is at home, so the boys will be doing their utmost to make sure we take a lead going into the second leg at the end of the month in Hull.
For sure, I would love another 6-0 scoreline like the Cardiff game. You can be sure we will be trying.
Last weekend proved to be a disappointing one for us, as we ended up with just one point, when I thought we really had a chance of taking all four.
Saturday's game saw us lose 4-1 to Newcastle in a game where we lacked any jump from the start.
I can't tell you why it was like that, but myself, along with the rest of the team, never really got going.
Woody (Greg Wood), who is really playing well at the moment, gave us the lead, but from there the Vipers did all the scoring.
Newcastle played a smart road game, getting bodies in the shooting lanes and making it a very frustrating night for us.
On Sunday, we had the long road trip to Edinburgh - and it probably took us a period-and-a-half to get going up there.
That could be due, in part, to Murrayfield being such a big ice sheet. It is difficult for players to take the body. I think some of the boys prefer the tighter rinks.
We gave up a lot of shots in the game, but Curtis (Cruickshank) was on top of his game and produced some big stops.
We battled back from 4-2 down with Greg Owen again coming up with a big goal for us, to force the game into overtime. Unfortunately, the Capitals then scored the winner.
I don't feel there is any point in dwelling on those games, we now move on and are fully focused on the Hull cup game.
I look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
