The Basingstoke Bison regret to announce that, due to a mechanical breakdown of the ice plant on Thursday afternoon and in spite of the best efforts of Planet Ice engineers and the refrigeration contractors unfortunately this Saturday's EPL fixture against the Sheffield Steeldogs has had to be postponed. The required part to rectify the problem is unavailable in the UK and will not be available until early next week.

Planet Ice would like to pass on their sincere apologies to all Bison fans, the Steeldogs organisation and their travelling support for the obvious disappointment this will cause.

A statement concerning the rescheduling of the game will be released as soon as a new date is agreed.

All tickets purchased for the cancelled game will be valid on the rescheduled date. If ticket holders cannot attend the rescheduled date, refunds will be available upon request.

A further statement will be released on Tuesday updating the situation.
