THE BASINGSTOKE Bison moved up to third in the English Premier League after beating the Telford Tigers 6-3 in Shropshire on Sunday night and also extended their winning streak to nine games.
The Herd’s Viktor Kubenko scored the only goal of the first period.
The second session saw the home side level from Tom Watkins, before the Bison netted three unanswered from Ondrej Lauko, Ciaran Long and Sam Oakford, with his first league goal of the campaign.
The final 20 minutes saw Basingstoke extend their lead to 6-1 thanks to Kubenko and a short handed strike from Nicky Chinn.
Telford then pulled two goals back from Daniel Mackriel and Ashley Calvert.
