A professional display by Vipers saw them gain a moral boosting road win against the 'Bison 10' bolstered by a trio of players stepping up from the EPL Bracknell Bees.
It's now 3 wins from the last 4 for Vipers while Bison have only a single success from their last 4.
It was however the home side who took the lead at 9.36 as Greg Wood (3rd) fired home but equality was restored soon afterwards when Jeff Hutchins (8th) netted for Vipers at 10.00 and this remained the score at the first interval.
Vipers took command of the game in the latter half of the second period with a 5 on 3 powerplay goal by David Longstaff (16th) setting them on their way at 32.04 and then Shaun Johnson (7th) making it 3-1 at 35.29.
Bison made a big effort to try and turn the game around in the final period and outshot Vipers by 21 to 10 but could find no way past Ryan MacDonald in the visitors goal and it was Vipers adding the icing to the cake with an empty net goal by Colin Shields (21st) at 58.50.
