Sixteen goals in their last two home games, means the Basingstoke Bison are in red hot scoring form on home ice at the moment.
Following hot on the heels of a 6-0 win over Cardiff. Last Saturday the Herd recorded their biggest ever Elite League win 10-2 over the Edinburgh Capitals, with Greg Chambers in superb form netting four times.
The Bison will hope to continue that when the Nottingham Panthers, are the next team in town on Saturday night.
This is the Lace City side's second time in Basingstoke this season, on their previous visit they won after a penalty shoot-out thanks to Patrik Wallenberg.
That was back in early October and both teams since then have made many changes with former NHL goalie Tom Askey now between the Panthers pipes, while ex-Bison players Kevin Bergin and Mike Ellis are expected to ice this time around for Nottingham.
For the home side, Steve Thornton is still nursing a hand injury, while Finnish defenceman Mikko Purontakanen took a puck to the eye in last Sunday's game at Newcastle
Bison head coach Ryan Aldridge said: "We know we are going to be short staffed, but the boys in the dressing room are ready. Our home form is good right now and we want to continue that."
Tickets for Saturday's game which start at 6.30pm, are still available at the box office on (01256) 355266.
On Sunday night, the Bison make their first trip of the campaign to Hull, to face a Stingrays outfit chasing them for a play-off spot.
Hull coach Rick Strachan has pin pointed the three remaining home games with the Herd, as the lifeline for his side to make the final eight.
Aldridge said: "This is another important game for us and we will go there hoping to get something out of it, but we know it is going to be tough."
